GETTING HERE
The Gorge and Chairlift are only 1.5 kms from the city centre with car parks on both the northern and southern side of the Gorge. If you want to walk from your city accommodation, it will take approximately 15-20 mins from the Kings Bridge Gorge Reserve Entry, into the Cliff Grounds along the cataract walk.

BASIN ROAD CARPARK
Known as the main carpark for the Gorge
Located at 69 Basin road, West Launceston
Closest access to the Chairlift plus easy access into the reserve. Via an Inclinator if required.
Approximately 200 car spaces – these include :

CLIFF GROUNDS CARPARK
Known as the Maple steps carpark.
Located on Gorge Road, Trevallyn
Provides steep access into the reserve via steps. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
